Anybody can order gift boxes from us...

But please keep in mind we have a minimum order quantity of 30 gift boxes (per box size and colour) on our standard range of gift boxes.  
We have a standard list of sizes, but boxes are still manufactured on demand, and take approximately 15 working days to deliver.

If you require personalized boxes (made to your exact specification or branded with foiling or printing, special clasps and ribbons etc.) the minimum order is 100 boxes per size, per colour.  Our standard lead time for these custom made boxes is up to 15 working days from date of approval of artwork (where applicable) - deposit in our possession (for personalized boxes it may be longer).   Please make sure you have enough time to allow for this.   

Please take note of these standard terms relating to our gift box order requirements and processes, to ensure a smooth and pleasant gift box order experience!

Standard Gift Box Orders:

Urgent orders cannot be shuffled around in our production schedule unless they are marked and treated as rush jobs (see section on rush jobs in our terms of service)
All our boxes are DIE cut by machine, but covered and manufactured by hand in our onsite factory and we ONLY use eco friendly glue, and mostly eco friendly paper. 

We take the greatest care to produce quality products, but slight variations in size and consistency in exact location of foiling, gluing and printing (where applicable) is to be expected.  Each box is a unique masterpiece!

Our Gift Boxes can only be shipped outside of Gauteng Province if  you send your own courier to collect (this is due to volumetric size / pricing).

For Gauteng:  The delivery fee applicable will depend on the volume of the load of gift boxes in your order.  You are welcome to collect your gift box order from our factory in Irene, Centurion once confirmation of collection date has been issued.

Please note that The Packaging Source cannot take responsibility for measuring a box on a client's behalf - when contacting us for a box quote, we do not have such a thing as a standard A5, A4, wine box or any other standard size.  If you are looking for a standard size, pick one from our standard sizes, alternatively PLEASE MAKE SURE to include your measurements (Length x width x height in millimeters).

 
Boxes are made exactly to dimensions specified by the client, so please make sure your items fit, and your brief to us includes all the relevant details.

Urgent (Rush Job) Gift Box Orders:

We are able to do urgent rush jobs where delivery is less than the stated manufacturing time (but no less than 5 days) from date of payment -

however, rush-job fees of 25%  do apply, and the full amount is payable on order up front.

We have a special set of very strict rush job order rules which will be followed and if you as the client default on timing of payment or artwork, the Rush Job status will automatically expire and the job will continue as a standard order - So please make sure to follow these set of instructions carefully!

1.  Rush Jobs are quoted as such and confirmed in writing on date of quote (we contact the factory manager and confirm a production time). 

2.  Full payment should be received within 8 hours of quote to make sure the space reserved in the production line for the order is retained.

3.  Late payments will result in the order being status being reduced to standard, and The Packaging Source is under no obligation to alert the client of this. 

4.   Rush jobs times quoted EXCLUDE time for delivery / collection - the date quoted is the final date of production - that can be up until 16:00 that afternoon.

4.  Our Rush Job policy is very strict, please make sure you understand the procedure before placing a rush order!  

The rush option is only available during months outside of our festive season rush (October - December) and only on written confirmation and acceptance by the Packaging Source.  Please read our terms and conditions for the complete rush job procedure.
